Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club Home
"Welcome to the Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club Website".
We are known as the 21st Club and are located at Eros Reserve, Orestes Street, San Remo in Mandurah.
Originally formed in 1996 as Peel Surf Life Saving Club at Halls Head. Renamed Mandurah Surf Life Saving Club in 2000 and relocating to San Remo. Mandurah progressed from a probationary club to an affliliated club of Surf Life Saving Western Australia in April 2005. In May 2009 the Club professionalised its logo.
Mandurah SLSC has continued to grow and serve the community as the oldest Club within the City of Mandurah.
As a Club, our primary role is to patrol the beach and maintain a safe beach environment.
In 2006 the Club was awarded third place by Surf Life Saving WA in the Club of the Year award out of 27 WA clubs, and at the 2009 WA Awards of Excellence the Club was awarded 2nd place in the "Laerdal Patrol Club of the Year".
We also provide ongoing education, training, sports, competition and family fun for all ages from 5 years of age.
There are many areas that you can be involved in. All our members are volunteers.
The club has now secured funding for a clubhouse. Construction is proposed to start in July 2010 and the facility is expected to be operational by October 2011 (subject to council and DPI approvals).
